GECC Lightning Talks Series

For the annual meeting this year, GECC is launching a panel that will feature up to eight short presentations of 5–10 minutes, with or without visual aids. These talks provide an opportunity to present in-progress research and other topics not yet developed into full-length conference papers. Possible topics include:

-An argument from your current work (e.g., dissertation or journal article)

-Initial findings from side projects or archival research

-Pedagogical questions

-Field-based or experience-driven observations

This panel will also serve as a mentoring opportunity. While details are still being finalized, the current plan is to pair each presenter with a mentor who will review their talk and meet for a chat afterward.
